Palace in Varese Campo dei Fiori family Sforza

Historical building of great architectural importance, artistic and cultural history that was ancient hunting lodge of the Sforza family.

The building dates back to 1597 and is located in an ancient village in the countryside of the park Campo dei Fiori; located in the upper part where there was the ancient fortress of 1514. Remains of the fortress walls, are also found inside the house. The palace is decorated with ancient frescoes and stucco decoration of considerable artistic value.

The property is not subject to any constraint of Fine Arts and all artistic elements in it have been restored by prominent professionals.

The building is rectangular, with a porch on the ground floor and first floor porch. The property is divided as follows:

GROUND FLOOR:

At the entrance you are greeted from the large courtyard of the property. Opposite the entrance, the other end of the courtyard, it has a long wall covered with vegetation, with a fountain in the center. Said wall supports the upper terrace also owned. On the right we find the arched portico of the palace decorated with a majestic wisteria ranked as the oldest in Europe. The floor of the porch is made of stone slabs. From here it is introduced to the floor lounges, where we meet the large living room, decorated with ornamental stucco, frescoes and large marble fireplace; continue in the other dining room also with marble fireplace and decorated with frescoes. On the ground floor there is a kitchen very particular, other two rooms, a bathroom, a hallway leading to the cellar and rooms used for evacuation. The floors are laid with marble technique seeded and cooked in Lombard. The staircase with steps in gneiss, leading to first floor.

FIRST FLOOR:

Accessed both internally by the scale mentioned above and outside from the large porch with great views over the village and the park of Campo dei Fiori. The gallery is also frescoed. Inside we find the large living room with coffered ceiling decorated wooden, a large library, three bedrooms, one bathroom. Returning to the lodge, by a flight of stairs leads to the terrace and mezzanine floor consists of a bedroom with private bath.

SECOND FLOOR:

With wooden structure on the second floor is an attic, which could also be used as attic.
