Ancient house in Omegna fz. Gattugno

House of 1600 in Omegna in the hamlet of Gattugno, a small residential hillside village at 5 km from Omegna and placed at 500 mt. above sea level.

The house with paved courtyard and canopy is set on three levels and has undergone several renovations over the years, the last in the 80s, without ever altering the ancient charm that is transpired from the ancient walls of the houses of the Renaissance type. The house needs careful renovation to make it more comfortable.

The Courtyard with its scented bushes of yellow roses that cling to the neighboring walls is in common with a rustic. The house has three independent entrances, two from the courtyard and one from the inside that overlooks the back alley.

The ground floor is separated from the other floors and in turn divides into two separate non-communicating service areas: living room with fireplace, corridor, boiler room with laundry. The other room consists of a corridor, a dining area and a kitchenette. External bathroom, cellar with vaulted ceilings. Portals from arched vaults.

Comfortable stone stairs lead to the first floor where you enter a large corridor with a bathroom, two large double bedrooms; the stone staircase continues and ends on the second floor in a gallery with stone columns, here we find two other large double bedrooms.
